Extra Innings Training is home to our travel ball organization Orlando Flex. Our youth softball and baseball teams offer a progressive development-first take on traditional travel ball.

All teams are focused on development. Each player has the opportunity to identify personal goals and coaches and players will work together towards achieving those goals. Younger teams play within the Central Florida area while older teams may incorporate one or more tournaments each season requiring an overnight stay.
“Prep” teams prepare for play at the next level, for instance, a high school prep team will begin to modify its standards and procedures to prepare and familiarize its players with the expectations of high school-level ball.
Showcase teams do not play traditional tournaments but build a schedule around showcase tournaments designed to gain college exposure for college-track athletes.
None of our teams play tournaments in the Spring. To ensure we are developing the whole player, we encourage players below the high school level to take the Spring off from travel ball. What can you do in the Spring? You can play rec ball, play other sports, focus on academics, school activities, personal skill development, other interests, or, just relax! Any of these activities will help develop and prepare your player to play at the next level next season.
